Hon Raymond Cho, Scarborough-North

Hon. Raymond Cho MPP

Loving God in heaven, we bless Your Holy name.  We ask that Your love would be poured out upon Hon. Raymond Cho.  May Your great love draw him nearer to You.  May he choose to set the eyes of His heart upon You to lead and to guide him in the decisions that he makes.  Thank You, Lord, for his long-standing service to his community.  Bless him with great humility and righteous wisdom as he serves Ontarians as the Minister of Seniors and Accessibility.  Heavenly Father, grant Raymond good health, strength and courage in You.  In Jesus name, amen.

Dr. Raymond Cho was elected the MPP for Scarborough-North in June 2018.  Raymond immigrated to Canada from the Republic of Korea in 1967. Despite having worked for the American Embassy in Korea, Raymond could not find a professional job after landing in Vancouver, BC.  His first job in Canada was as a dishwasher then later a miner in B.C. Not long after, Raymond arrived in Toronto – the city he has called home ever since.

Prior to becoming an elected official, Raymond worked as a Social Worker for the Catholic Children’s Aid Society, as well as the Toronto District School Board and Scarborough Board of Education.
