God is pro Ontario.

That's why we need to pray for Ontario.

Helping pastors to resource their congregations.

As a pastor, you are a source of teaching and encouragement for the people of your congregation. We recognize the importance of what you do, and what your leadership needs are. So we’ve created resources to help you connect your church to the larger prayer movement across Ontario.

Our goal is to foster unity within the diversity of the body of Christ across the province, as we pray and take steps to bring blessing to every aspect of Ontario, including our political leadership.

Ontario Election Campaign 2018

Adopt Your Riding in Prayer

We want to cover Ontario with intentional, fervent prayer as we head towards our election on June 7. This means having at least one dedicated prayer hub in each of our 124 electoral districts.

Would your church commit to adopting your electoral district in prayer?

As a prayer hub church, you will:

Be added to our campaign mailing list
Be a host church on Sunday June 3 for a local prayer gathering, as we pray for the election collectively as the body of Christ in Ontario
Have opportunity to encourage your congregation to prayer walk the community using the Adopt Your City app
Commit to praying for the election from April 29 to June 7
Have your church name and address added to our provincial prayer hub map
Write a prayer for the people, the leaders and the needs of your electoral district and submit it to Pray Ontario as a witness to your prayers for your community

Susan and I are proud of our friend and chaplaincy colleague Tim Schindel and the PRAYON.ca initiative. As followers of Jesus we take seriously the call to pray for our various governments in Canada. Elections are a very good reminder of this!

On February 27 I attended a meeting of pastors and leaders, sponsored by Missions GTA, encouraging us to pray for Ontario. Roughly 150 pastors and leaders from numerous denominations gathered, as we received a clarion call to join hands to pray for our Ontario government. All I can say is the Holy Spirit was so present, that we did not need to be convinced to get on board. When the church bands together in unity, there is an authority in the heavenly realms, where we take back ground and step into the call of God on us (Eph 3:10).

I’m so excited about the PrayON campaign and feel it is so key for the upcoming elections here in Ontario. Amazing things happen when God’s people pray and I believe as we rally together to pray it will make a major impact. I encourage every follower of Jesus to be part of PrayON!

I am thrilled to be part of the PrayON campaign. Never before has our beloved Ontario been at such a point of crisis in so many ways: spiritual, economic, political, academic & beyond. Now is the time for Ontarians to cry out to God for the future of our province…and our children!
